<span style="font-weight: 400">Despite safeguarding 80% of Earth’s biodiversity, Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs) receive less than 1% of global climate funding. Without equitable, flexible, and community-centred financing, IPLCs face limitations in harnessing their knowledge and practices to drive scalable adaptation and resilience. This session will address the urgent need to reform financial mechanisms that better serve local priorities, unlocking and amplifying climate responses that offer global benefits.</span>
